Meet our Community Manager!

Start Fort Wayne and Atrium are thrilled to announce Bambi Guthrie as our facility community manager. If you’re local to the Fort Wayne area, you’ve probably seen her around–likely directing some cool shots behind a camera.

In her role, Bambi will manage the day-to-day operations of the 5,500 square-foot Atrium coworking office space at 111 W. Berry St. in downtown Fort Wayne. This includes developing policies and procedures, managing the office space, managing other Atrium staff, handling member issues and queries, and performing basic marketing tasks and event management.

“I grew up in small town, Indiana where I was the daughter of a regionally known professional dog groomer and the granddaughter of one of the most popular barbers around. I always loved being introduced to new people in the community while I was at my family’s businesses. Through that, I was kind of swept into public relations and entrepreneurship from a young age,” Guthrie explained about her passion for entrepreneurialism. “Seeing young businesses flourish, grow, and become a household name is what made me want to find out a way to have a career with young companies. Start Fort Wayne is a perfect home for me to help encourage entrepreneurs through any difficulty they have and celebrate them when they succeed.”

Guthrie studied photography at the University of Saint Francis. She now does photography full-time and loves the variety of uncommon clients she has. One day she could be photographing a wedding in the woods, and the next she could be photographing insanely delicious burgers on the ground. She also enjoys photographing bands, asserting that the more metal/punk/rock-n-roll the better. Her photography has gained her spots in many publications, both local and worldwide.

Guthrie has been doing photography and making art for over 12 years now, and she loves curating art shows in Fort Wayne. One of her loves is gathering all types of people together to enjoy art and good conversation. She has been nominated for the Journal Gazette’s Reader’s Choice award for photography, which is a very cool local achievement to her.

Her previous jobs include being the social media lady at a top 200 salon in the country, an awesome order taker in the Bravas truck and restaurant, and a pretty awesome barista at an overrated coffee chain.

You’ll be seeing a lot more of Bambi Guthrie on our social media, as well as at Atrium once we are open. In the meantime, give her a high five if you see her out and about in Fort Wayne and stay tuned for more exciting Atrium news!
